Why we ride

What was the challenge?

Škoda Auto’s close connection to cycling dates back to the origins of the company in 1895. Nevertheless, many potential customers today – especially women, who are an important target group for SUVs – do not know that Škoda is an ideal companion for cyclists and that it supports their passion in every possible way.

How did we tackle it?

Because women in general have a great yet largely unfulfilled potential for cycling, we created an inspirational video celebrating female cyclists and showing the different reasons why they ride a bike.

What did we achieve?

The campaign has been localised and activated in 18 countries across Europe and Australia. The English version of the video alone received more than 2.3M views and almost 2K likes. Moreover, the accompanying how-to videos received over 300,000 organic views on YouTube.
